Human Resources Generalist

Join Yeled’s growing Human Resources Team and contribute to our amazing mission! We are seeking an HR Generalist to support a variety of HR functions of the organization including employee relations, performance management, employee retention, compliance and employee benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Support the maintenance of the Agency job description library, including drafting new JDs from scratch
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives from proposal to implementation
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as employee turnover rates
- Ensure compliance with federal, local and program employment-related regulations
- Support Agency employees and managers through the performance management and employee disciplinary process. Address employee grievances
- Oversee employee Benefits administration.
- Enhance and oversee onboarding experience, including new employee orientation and help organize training & development initiatives
Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in HRM, Org Psych or related field completed or in progress preferred
- Preferred 2 years in corporate HR Department
- Strong interest in a career in HR
- Basic foundational knowledge of HR concepts
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Strong communications skills – oral and written
- High discretion and ethics
- Detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
- Strong Computer Skills
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000
